⁶ At Your ^(A)rebuke, O God of Jacob,
Both ^(B)chariot rider and horse slumbered into a deep sleep.
⁷ But You, You are ^[a](C)fearsome;
And ^(D)who can stand in Your presence when once ^[b]You are angry?

⁸ You made Your cause to be heard from heaven;
The earth ^(E)feared and was quiet
